We had soooo much fun this last week visiting friends and family in the great states of Colorado and Wyoming...First, Nana, Taylor and mom flew into Denver, rented a car and then drove to Longmont, CO to see cousin Mariana (just 10 days older than Taylor) and her mom Kara and grandpartents Betty and Kim.
The next day we all drove to Casper, WY (about a 4 hour drive) to see mommy's best friend since 4th grade, Aunt Tiffany, her 7-year-old Jack and new baby daughter (7 weeks) Ali Shae and Uncle Craig.
On Tuesday the three of us packed up again and drove to Denver, where we picked Daddy up from the aiport just in time for the evening Dodgers/Rockies game (Dodgers lost). Nana sent mom and dad to the game alone to give them a "date night" and took Taylor back to her room -- it was a very fun night for everyone!
The next day Mom, Taylor and Nana went back to Longmont to visit Aunt Betty for coffee and the park. Later that night, Nana sent Mom and Dad to the Dogers/Rockies game again and put Taylor to bed. Mom and Dad were so happy the Dodgers won this time, and celebrated with a drink after the game at Denver's newest hotel, the Ritz Carlton, where mom chatted up The Dodgers pitcher (Weaver) at the bar!
On Thursday, everyone went to the last Dodgers/Rockies game, and Taylor had the best time watching all the action, looking for the mascot Dinger, and playing in the neat play area just for kids. She was so tired when we got back to the hotel, but perked up for a fun game of BINGO in the hotel lobby, a special event hosted by the Children's Miracle Network. Taylor even danced for everyone between BINGO games - she was quite the entertainer.
Before we all left on Friday, Nana and Taylor took a train ride around the new Orchard mall in North Denver - and Taylor also splashed in the children's fountains.
On the flight home, Taylor slept the whole way. Everyone had a terrific time, and thanks to Nana, mom and dad even got to enjoy some alone time and slept in three days in a row!!!
