Although my beloved 17-month old is an eager eater (so far), I feel compelled to broaden my culinary talents so I can continue to turn out yummy - but also healthy - food for all of us...So right now I ESPECIALLY love this cookbook -- which I have had for about two years and just finally cracked open over the weekend...Made the chocolate chip cookies AND the tacos -- and they both actually were DELISH!
By the way, the subtitle says "Get Your Kids Eating Good Food" but my motivation was to set a good example through my "oldest" child, who won't touch veggies -- did I say child, I meant husband:) Love you, honey!
A word of caution: the recipes all call for some sort of vegetable puree -- but don't be scared. You can make a puree in 7 minutes -- microwave fresh or frozen veggies until tender, toss in blender with a teeny bit of water and VOILA!!!
Next up -- I am going to attempt the brownies -- secret ingredient is - get this- SPINACH!
